Portfolio Manager

Objectives of this Role

• Develop effective investment strategies for the company and its customers based on a comprehensive analysis of all available data;

• Build and manage a portfolio of international securities on a day-to-day basis working towards maximizing investment returns;

• Continuously monitor the markets, adjust portfolio operations based on the results of the monitoring;

• Ensure that at any time the portfolio is within the set acceptable risk levels;

• Provide sound investment and strategy advice based on market performance;

• Produce activity and performance reports using data metrics and visualization, analyze performance against projected performance indicators;

• Contribute to the development and implementation of internal rules and regulations, ensure that standards are being followed;

• Collaborate with the executive team, research and risk management departments, including to identify new investment opportunities and potential risks.

Skills and Qualifications

• University degree;

• Proven track record of successful portfolio management;

• Strong understanding of investment strategies and risk assessment/management processes;

• Knowledge and understanding of international capital markets, willingness and commitment to building competencies in this area;

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills;

• A sound command of English;

• Great communication skills – both verbal and written;

• Dependable, discreet, and detail-oriented personality with a high sense of responsibility.
